300 - 300 - 300 - 300

Well I've been trying to get Margaret to write about herself for quite a while so I could put this page up on her site so now I think it's time I do a bit of it for her.

Well I will not try to tell you her life story but because this is mostly her birding page I will give you her latest story on birds..

Margaret is my sister and about the most avid birder I've met. She's travelled many miles to add birds to her NB list. She was determined to reach her 300th bird sighting this year and a visit to Elgin and a Broad-billed Hummingbird has done it for her.

Tonight at the Restigouche Ornitho Club, she was presented with a "300th bird" certificate and I got a special cake made for her. Here are the pictures of that celebration and the members present who were all happy for her.
If Stuart Tingley looks at these pictures he may see that I have used his pictures of the Hummer to place on her card and certificate for her 300th. hope you will forgive me Stu :)

So here is Teary-eyed Margaret, with the gang

Odile and Gilberte also got their 150th bird certificates, but no cake hehehee

I also made her a card from work, which said :

Congratulations
We know you're excited
BUT we think you have to know!!
inside it said
How much trouble you put us through
We had to have that bird flown in from
MEXICO!!!
Especially for YOU !!
